Sleep Inn Urbana

I really liked this hotel. The staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate. The only real complaint that I would have would be that the pool was a little over chlorinated and the bathroom was very small. The place is a dump and the staff is non-existent. This hotel was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. There were hairs on my bath towels and the sink along with an empty box of tissue and the price was outrageous. When I came back to the hotel at 2:30 in the morning there was no one at the desk to let me in and no place to swipe your key card for access. After buzzing several times, a guest who happened to be passing through the lobby let me in. When I tried to check-out at noon the next day there was still no one there to attend to me. My only thing to say about the hotel is that the staff is very unfriendly and the fact that the gym that's on the third floor of the hotel couldn't be used due to construction really didn't make the stay any better. ...read more

As for the lobby, they claimed to have internet, which was true. Good luck accessing the computer though. There was what appeared to be a bag lady on it for the 48 hours I was at the hotel. Yes, the entire 48 hours. The staff was a clueless, and not very hospitable. ...read more
